This led to the creation of the Couture Cat Sitting franchise network — a team of dedicated, DBS-checked sitters who all receive training and support to deliver the same level of care Helena has provided since day one.
Our nationwide team now offers a premium in-home cat sitting service across the country, but we’ve never lost our personal touch. Heléna still takes on bookings in her local area, proving that even as we’ve grown, the heart of our service hasn’t changed.

Gizmo’s Legacy — Dignity for Every Cat
Outside of her business, Heléna also leads Gizmo’s Legacy, a nationwide volunteer campaign inspired by her beloved cat Gizmo. After Gizmo’s tragic passing in 2016, Heléna discovered that councils were often disposing of cats without first scanning for a microchip or attempting to contact their owners. Determined to change this, she launched a mission to ensure every cat receives dignity and every owner has the chance to say goodbye.
Today, Gizmo’s Legacy is supported by over a thousand volunteers across the UK. When a deceased cat is found, a trained volunteer will sensitively collect them, scan for a microchip, and do everything possible to reunite them with their family. If an owner is found, the cat is taken to a local vet so they can be picked up and brought home with care and respect.
Heléna’s dedication has already brought about significant awareness and change — and her campaign to make Gizmo’s Law a legal requirement continues to gather support nationwide.
